ENTERAL NUTRITION THERAPY:
Numerous Enteral formulas are available for patients that may have a disorder that inhibits swallowing. Enteral therapy
provides the nutrition and caloric intake needed to sustain or gain weight and promote healing. Several delivery systems
are available for in-home therapy including infusion pumps or bolus method. Enteral therapy can be administered on a
continuous or intermittent basis. We provide a variety of formulas and maintain an extensive inventory of feeding tubes
and related supplies.
Services include:
- 24-hour support service with Nursing and Pharmacy staff.
- Provision of equipment.
- Delivery service
- Clinical assessment and monitoring.
- Monitoring of nutritional intake, I & O status.
- Laboratory testing and monitoring.
- Liaison between Physician and patient.
- Education and training for patient and caregiver.
We provide a coordinated "team approach" offering support, reassurance and integrated medical services for all our
enteral nutrition therapy patients.
